In a world that feels increasingly uncertain—from the rising cost of living to attacks on reproductive rights—we believe that community-rooted, compassionate care is more important than ever. At Dar a Luz, we believe everyone deserves safe, respectful, and empowering healthcare, regardless of income, background, or insurance. Every day, we provide care that’s rooted in love, dignity, and community. But we can’t do it without you.
We rely on a combination of donations and grants to keep our services accessible, but the reality is that grant funding is limited and fiercely competitive, and unfortunately, it’s not guaranteed. That’s why individual donors like you are essential. Your support helps fill the gap and allows us to continue serving families.
This year, we’ve set a goal to raise $75,000 by December 31 to sustain our essential services and meet the growing needs of our community.

Dar a Luz Birth & Health Center, formally known as Full Circle Midwifery, is a member of the American Association of Birth Centers and became accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Birth Centers in August of 2011. Dar a Luz is currently the only licensed and accredited birthing center in New Mexico, and has been a non-profit 501(c)(3) since March 2008. Monetary donations allow us to offset operational costs and offer reduced-cost and free services to birthing people and women in our community who are underserved.
